Rams Edge Rebels In Dual Meet

FT. COLLINS, Colo. - UNLV dropped a 125-118 decision to Colorado State in a dual meet on Saturday afternoon at the Moby Pool.
The win gives the Rams at least a share of the Mountain West Conference regular-season title. Both UNLV and CSU were tied for second coming into the meet.
In the third event of the day, Alyson Noble won the 200 free in 24.29 seconds. Noble and Zick would later go 1-2 in the 500 freestyle. Noble took first in 5:07.31, while Zick finished in 5:07.79.
Jessie Bradshaw won 100 free in 52.91.
Shayna Burns won 200 IM in 2:07.19 and the 200 breast in 2:19.63.
CSU was down two points going into the final event, the 400 freestyle relay. The race was close with a lead change in the second length and a UNLV disqualification on an exchange. With both school's swimming two teams, the winning moment was in the last 50 yards of the race when CSU's Paula Langner, anchoring the relay, and came from behind to beat UNLV and seal the win.
UNLV's team of Katie Wronn, Lauren Browning, Alyson Noble and Alison Zick finished second in 3:31.72. The team of Jacque Hoover, Lani Seaman, JaNae Rohner and Tiffany Vincent suffered the disqualification.
