LAS VEGAS - The UNLV women's swimming and diving team defeated New Mexico 147.50-95.50 and UC-Irvine 139-98, while the men's team defeated UC-Irvine 137-97. New Mexico did not compete on the men's side.
Highlighting the men's side, Adam Martinson, Patrick Adams, Michael Day and Joe Bartoch combined to win the 400 medley relay in 3:26.23. The Rebel team of Tiger Christian, Bjorn Eriksson, John Byers and Brandon Nelms took second in 3:27.01.
Kyle Goodrich took the 1000 free in 9:40.02, while Jonathan Hugo (20.77) and Bjorn Eriksson (21.35) went 1-2 in the 50 free.
Michael Day won the 200 fly in 1:53.95 and Jonathan Hugo (46.43), Joe Bartoch (46.44) and Brandon Nelms (48.00) went 1-2-3 in the 100 free.
Tiger Christian (1:53.54) and Adam Martinson (1:53.83) went 1-2 in the 200 back. Kyle Goodrich won the 500 free in 4:45.01.
The men capped the meet with a win the 400 free relay. Jonathan Hugo, Joe Bartoch, Bjorn Eriksson and Brandon Nelms finished in 3:08.79.
On the women's side, Jessie Bradshaw, Julie Unrau, Alison Zick and Alyson Noble opened the meet with a win in the 400 medley relay (3:57.33).
Alyson Noble won the 200 free in 1:52.12, while Katie Wronn took first in the 50 free (24.42) and 100 free (53.46).
Julie Unrau won the 200 fly in 2:04.89 and Jessie Bradshaw won the 200 back in 2:07.10.
Alyson Noble (4:56.19) and Alison Zick (5:03.66) went 1-2 in the 500 free.
Noble, Zick, Bradshaw and Lauren Browning combined to win the 400 relay in 3:32.66.
UNLV hits the road next week with a noon meet against San Diego on Saturday.
