AUSTIN, Texas - Three UNLV women swimmers posted top-16 finishes to help the Rebels remain in seventh place (107 points) after the second day of action in the University of Texas Invitational on Friday, while the Rebel men are in 10th place (73).

The highest finish of the night was turned in by Kim Bonney, who turned in an eighth place swim of 1:04.62 in the 100 breast. Also scoring individually for the night for the Rebel women was Bailey Kustermeyer and Lisa Gillespie, who placed 12th and 15th in the 200 IM, in times of 4:25.70 and 4:28.38, respectively. UNLV's 200 medley relay team of Amanda Weinbrecht, Bonney, Marina Sandback, and Megan Hunt-Higgins finished in eighth with a time of 1:43.47.

The Rebel men posted a seventh place swim in the 200 medley relay, as the team of Devin Phillips, Tamas Bosnyak, Peter Lorring, and Richard Hortness finished in 1:31.96.

The three-day invitational concludes on Saturday.
