Women's Tennis To Host Trio This Weekend

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV women’s tennis team returns to the Fertitta Tennis Complex this weekend for three total matches.

The Rebels (3-3) have spent the last two weekends playing away from home but host a doubleheader Saturday vs. Youngstown State starting at 10 a.m. and UC Riverside at 2 p.m.

On Sunday, UNLV faces a Mountain West opponent for the first time this season with a 10 a.m. match against Colorado State. All UNLV matches begin with doubles play and admission is free of charge.

Head coach Kevin Cory’s squad is led by Aiwen Zhu, who is 5-0 in dual matches this season at the top of the lineup and 15-5 overall. The junior earned her first ITA national ranking of the season Wednesday, coming in at No. 63. Zhu and partner En-Pei Huang, who stand 14-4, also cracked the doubles rankings at No. 60.
