Duo Ready For Riviera Run

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. - UNLV senior Kristina Nedeltcheva and freshman Nives Pavlovic will open play in the prequalifying round at the annual Riviera All-American Tennis Championships on Saturday.

Nedeltcheva, ranked 90th nationally, will open vs. Cameron Ellis of Georgia while Pavlovic is scheduled to take on Chelcie Abajain of Illinois. A second round will then take place later in the day.

In doubles, the Lady Rebel duo opens with the PQ round's top seeded team of Noemie Scharle and Katie Rybakova of Florida State.

The All-American is an elite, three-tiered event made up of a prequalifying, qualifying and a main draw. This weekend the prequalifying will be played Saturday and Sunday, followed by qualifying play on Tuesday and Wednesday and the main draw play Thursday through Sunday.
