Rebels Make Top Finishes at Bandanna Team Invite|

BOISE, Idaho - The UNLV women's indoor track and field team made three top 5 finishes at the Bandanna Team Invitational hosted by Boise State Saturday afternoon at Jacksons Indoor Track at the Idaho Sports Center.
Senior Tianika Sharrieff (Euless, Texas), the school record holder in the indoor high jump, placed second in the event with a mark of 5-06.00. Sophomore Brigitte Ladouceur (Cayenne, French Guiana) also finished second in the 60-meter hurdles with a career best time of 8.3 seconds, while senior co-captain Chantel Yates placed fifth (8.7 seconds).
Rounding out UNLV's top finishers at the meet were the 4x400 meter relay squad comprised of Sharrieff, freshman Dee Appuglise (Las Vegas), sophomore Michel Hunt (Los Angeles) and junior Cherokee Osborne (Sparks, Nev.), who clocked in a third-place time of 3:58.06.
In double dual meet scoring, the Rebels defeated Cal State Dominguez Hills, 53-39, but fell to host Boise State, 83-41, Cal State Los Angeles, 62-48, Cal, 70.50-42.50 and intrastate rival Nevada, Reno, 123-25.
UNLV will return to indoor action on Saturday, Feb. 15 at the Bill Cosby Invitational hosted by UNR in Reno, Nev.
