SEATTLE (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV track & field program collected three first-place finishes from Kaysha Love in the 60m, Jasyme Graham in the 60m hurdles and its 4x400m relay Saturday on the second and final day of the Husky Classic, which was hosted by Washington at the Dempsey Indoor.

Amongst collegiate competitors, Love was first in the 60m prelims (7.51) and finals (7.54) while Graham was first in the 60m hurdles (8.57) and finals (8.41). Drea Austin, Avi'Tal Perteete, Love and Nylia Hudspeth clocked a time of 3:41.20 to win the 4x400m relay by nearly six seconds over its closest competitor.

The two-day meet hosted by Washington at the Dempsey Indoor featured No. 1 Arkansas, No. 3 Oregon, No. 8 Texas, No. 15 Tennessee, No. 16 Stanford, No. 17 Michigan and many more collegiate squads.

 

 

QUOTABLE: "The Mountain West Championships are right around the corner, and we'll be ready" said head coach Yvonne Wade.

REBEL NOTES:
- Najia Hudspeth and Drea Austin finished second and sixth in the 400m with times of 54.89 and 56.26, respectively.
-MacKenna Howard finished seventh in the shot put with a measurement of 49-3 (15.01m).
