Several Rebels Set Personal Bests|

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV track & field program had team members compete at two different meets in two different states on Friday. A small contingent participated in the Texas Relays in Austin while others saw action at the Cal-Nevada Championships in San Diego.
In Austin, Myshauna Alexander had the best finish on the day for UNLV with a sixth-place showing at the Texas Relays in the javelin. Alexander's best throw measured 150-4 (45.82m).
Blok and Anunkor were also members of both the 4x100m and 4x400m relays. Meggs partnered with the duo and Erin Morris for a 14th-place finish (46.17) in the 4x100m relay while Kelsey Williamson replaced Morris in the 4x400m relay (30th, 3:48.06)..
Morris also participated in the 100m hurdles and ran a time of 14.12, which was good enough for 37th. Taylar Mills competed in the hurdles and was 69th (14.82).
In San Diego, Ayana Gales was one of five Rebels to set personal bests on the day. Gales clocked a time of 12.27 (PB) in the 100m while also participating in the 200m (20th, 25.76) and the long jump (13th, 18-2.5/5.55m).
Joining Gales in the personal-best department was Jordan Smith in the 100m (27th, 12.84), Courtney Allen in the 800m (11th, 2:13.77), Jordan Hardy in the 100m hurdles (14th, 14.77) and Juliet Summers in the 100m hurdles (28th, 15.45m).
Both the Texas Relays and Cal-Nevada Championships conclude competition on Saturday.
