The 4x100m quartet ran a time of 45.94, while the 4x400m foursome crossed the finish line in 3:40.13. The Relays were held at Hilmer Lodge Stadium in Walnut, Calif.
Saturday's 4x100m relay, which finished first overall, was comprised of Zadia Bryant, Uchechi Anunkor, Secoral Yanez and Lindsay Roach. Last week, at the Randall Cunningham Invitational, the 4x100m (Emily Blok, Bryant, Yanez, Anunkor) ran a 45.59.
Two weeks ago, at the Texas Relays, the 4x400m relay (Christine Lowe, Kelsey Williamson, Yanez and Brett Zorich) ran a time of 3:39.18. The same four student-athletes placed fourth in their race on Saturday.
Rounding out yesterday's competitors was Amanda Bingson in the invitational hammer throw. Bingson registered a throw of 210-2 (64.07m).
Both relays and Bingson all participated amongst stiffer competition. The 4x100m relay ran in the Olympic development section, while the 4x400m relay and Bingson competed in the invitational portion.
The Rebels will split up next weekend with some participating in the Asics/Steve Scott Invitational in Irvine, Calif., while others will head to La Jolla, Calif., for the Triton Invitational.
