Rebels Wrap Up Outdoor Regular Season In California

IRVINE, Calif. - UNLV women's track and field had seven athletes earn top-10 finishes including Christine Spence's win in the high jump as the Rebels ended their outdoor regular season at the Steve Scott Invitational hosted by UC Irvine.

Spence cleared 5'-10.75" in the high jump to lead the Rebels and she also added a second-place finish in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 13.77.

Brittney Bullocks added two second-place finishes as well for UNLV as she finished second in the 100 meters with a time of 12.11 and second in the 200 meters with a time of 24.50.

Miesha McClendon came in third in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 13.96, Deanne Appuglise clocked a 56.15 and came in third in the 400 meters and Michele Suszek crossed the finish line in a time of 17:51.78 to finish in fourth place in the 5,000 meters.

UNLV will take next weekend off and then travel to Ft. Collins, Colo., for the the Mountain West Conference Outdoor Championships on May 11-14.
