UNLV Competes At MWC Championships|

PROVO, Utah - UNLV women's track and field team competed in the first full day at the Mountain West Conference Outdoor Championships, held at the Clarence F. Robison Track on the campus of BYU.
The Rebels had a pair of student-athletes move into the finals in the 100 meters, as Lauren Johnson (12.04) finished sixth and Brittney Bullocks (12.11) eighth in Friday's preliminaries. Lekeisha Lawson added a fifth-place time in the 200 meter prelims with a time 24.31.
In event finals on Friday thrower Alayna Mills (147-0.00) finished 13th, Monique Humphries (136-2.00) came in 15th and Olivia Raya (131-1.00) finished 16th in the hammer throw. Kenya Pollee (17-6.25) added a 12th-place finish in the long jump and Raya (135-11.00) added an 11th-place finish in the discus.
Saturday is the final day of the meet and it begins at 9:00 a.m. (PDT) with the women's pole vault and it concludes at 2:05 p.m. with the men's 4x400 meter relay. The UNLV women's 4x100 relay team, which has the second-fastest time in the league this year, runs at 10:30 a.m.
