Hydianne Harper Finishes 10th in 200-meter Semifinals at NCAA Championships|

Hydianne Harper competed in the second day of competition in the 200-meter dash at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. She failed to qualify for Saturday's finals as she finished 10th overall with her time of 23.49. The eighth and final qualifier finished with a time of 23.38.
Harper advanced to the semifinals with her performance in Wednesday's preliminaries, clocking a 23.39 and finishing third in her heat. Her best time of the season was 23.09, a school record, which she set at the WAC Championships May 23.
Harper was one of two UNLV athletes to qualify for the NCAA meet. Jessica Marable finished 15th in Thursday's shot put. Neither athlete posted any points for the Rebels.
