LAS VEGAS - The UNLV women's track and field team will be sending student-athletes to two different meets on Saturday, with distance runners headed to Seattle, Wash., while the majority of the team will compete at the Boise State Invitational.

It will be the final indoor meets of the regular season for the Rebels, who are fine-tuning for the 2010 Mountain West Conference Indoor Championships at the end of February.

Rebel distance runners Bailey Kuestermeyer, Sarah Muniz and Ali Motor will be competing in the Husky Invitational on Saturday, which will be held at Dempsey Indoor in Seattle, Wash. Kuestermeyer and Muniz are slated to run the 5,000 meters and Motor will run the mile.

The rest of the UNLV team will in the Gem State and that meet gets underway at 9:00 a.m. (PT) at the Jackson Indoor Track at the Idaho Center in Nampa, Idaho, which is right outside of Boise.

Notable entries on the track for the Rebels included Emily Blok and Shahnel Woodley in the 60 and 200 meters, Candise Maxwell and Rachael Long in the 60-meter hurdles, Kelsey Williamson, Lindsay Roach and Chauncey David-Jacobs in the 200 and 400 meters and Brett Zorich in the 800 meters. Deja Edwards in the triple and long jump events also has a strong chance to post a high finish at the meet on Saturday.

UNLV, which will be sending a total of 14 student-athletes to the meet, will be part of a field that includes UCLA, Cal State Northridge, Utah State and Idaho.
