UNLV Opens Outdoor At Home|

LAS VEGAS - The UNLV women's track and field team begins the outdoor season by hosting its only meet of the spring, the UNLV Classic, which is set for Saturday at Myron Partridge Stadium and Sheila Tarr-Smith Field.
The Rebels will host a field that includes in-state rival Nevada, Reno, Southern Utah, Utah Valley State and Alaska Anchorage, along with other individuals who have entered the all day meet.
The first field event of the day is the men's hammer throw, which is slated to get underway at 9:00 a.m. (PT), and the first running event is the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase at 10:30 a.m. Saturday's meet will end with the 4x400 meter relay events at 3:45 p.m. (women) and 3:55 p.m. (men), and the final field event is women's shot put, which is scheduled to start at 4:00 p.m.
