Lawson Advances To Semis At World Meet|

SOPOT, Poland (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV track & field alumna Lekeisha Lawson qualified for Sunday's 60m semifinals after she tied for first in her preliminary heat Saturday at the 2014 IAAF World Indoor Championships. Lawson, a member of Team USA, ran a time of 7.19 to sit in a four-way tie for seventh after the prelims held at the Ergo Arena in Sopot, Poland.
Lawson's teammate Tianna Bartoletta ran a time of 7.13 to sit in a tie for third after the first round of action.
Sunday's action will feature both the semifinals and finale of the 60m. In the semis, Lawson will run in the second heat, while Bartoletta will go in the third.
