UNLV Wraps Up Final Day Of Competition At Mt. SAC Relays|

WALNUT, Calif. - UNLV seniors Halima Decree and Christine Spence both recorded posted top-5 finishes Sunday in invitational races at the 47th Annual Mt. SAC Relays held at Hilmer Lodge Stadium on the campus of Mt. San Antonio Community College.
DeCree had a strong showing in the 100 meter invitational race, clocking a 11.25 to finish second with one of the top collegiate times this year in the event. She finished second to Veronica Cambell of Jamaica, who ran a 10.98. DeCree also finished fifth in the 200 meter invitational with a time of 23.66.
Spence ran a blistering time of 57.30 in the 400 meter hurdles invitational to finish fourth. Both her and DeCree ran NCAA Regional qualifying times at the relays. The pair also ran legs on UNLV's 4x100 meter relay team that took fifth with a time of 46.10.
UNLV also had three other finishers Sunday at the meet in the university/open division of competition.
Alayna Mills took 34th in the hammer with a toss of 143'-2.00", Tanesha Carr crossed the finish line in 28th in the 100 meters with a time of 12.54 and Brittney Bullocks came in 28th in the 200 meters with a time of 24.66.
