LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV track & field team fresh off its fourth-place finish at last week's Mountain West Outdoor Track & Field Championships had five individuals and two relay squads earn all-conference honors. Leading the Rebel contingent was Emily Blok, a two-time selection this year after runner-up showings in both the 100m and 200m. Blok was also an instrumental member of the 4x100m and 4x400m relay teams that placed second and third, respectively.

After competing in four outdoor meets contested by the MW in her career, Blok has earned All-MW recognition six times as an individual - three apiece in the 100m and 200m - and seven more as a relay participant - four in the 4x400m and three in the 4x100m.

Blok was joined by teammates Myshauna Alexander (javelin), Uchechi Anunkor (100m), Monay Meggs (400m) and Auzsane Crowe-Carter (800m) on the All-MW Team.

Anunkor and Meggs partnered with Blok to form three quarters of the relay squads. Those three were also joined by Ashley Franklin in the 4x100m and Alva Castillo in the 4x400m relay to round out the quartets that earned All-MW honors.

Alexander is a repeat selection after her showing in the javelin at the 2012 MW Championships in the javelin, while Anunkor was on UNLV's 4x100m relay that was all-league, as well.
