Two Rebels, Two Relays Earn All-MW Team Honors

Auzsane Crowe-Carter was named to the 2014 Mountain West Outdoor All-Conference Team.

LAS VEGAS ( - The UNLV track & field team had a pair of individuals and two relay squads earn all-conference honors as a result of their efforts at the 2014 Mountain West Outdoor Championships held this past weekend in Laramie, Wyo.

Auzsane Crowe-Carter and Erin Morris were tabbed to the All-MW Team for their finishes in the 800m and 100m hurdles, respectively. The former won the 800m in a time of 2:08.76, which set a new stadium mark. The latter was third in the 100m hurdles (13.54).

Both individuals helped the 4x100m and 4x400m relays to all-conference recognition. Morris teamed up with Ashley Franklin, Kenia Bonilla and Amber Sanford in the 4x100m, while Crowe-Carter partnered with Mandy Chitwood, Alva Castillo and Noela Estrada in the 4x400m.

UNLV's 4x100m relay foursome has been a mainstay on the all-league list for seven straight years and eight of the past nine years. The 4x400m relay has earned All-MW status three consecutive years.
