Bingson Wins International Meet In Mexico|

GUANAJUATO, Mexico (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV track & field's Amanda Bingson represented the United States at the 2012 North American, Central American, and Caribbean (NACAC) Under-23 Championships in Guanajuato, Mexico well Friday with a first-place finish in the women's hammer throw. Bingson won the meet with a toss of 71.39 (234-3).
The U.S. claimed first and second in the hammer, as Brittany Smith finished behind Bingson with a measurement of 67.10 (220-2).
In June, Bingson finished second at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials, and she will represent the Red, White & Blue at the 2012 London Olympics. She will be joined by UNLV assistant track & field coach Khadevis Robinson, who finished second in the men's 800m run at the Trials.
