UNLV Women's Volleyball Hires Assistant Coach

LAS VEGAS, Nev.- UNLV volleyball head coach Deitre Collins announced the hiring of Kee Williams as an assistant coach Tuesday.

Williams, who played at the University of Hawai'i from 1990-94, has been a member of the USA National Team since May of 1997. After suffering an injury she has been helping out with the coaching duties.

A 1995 graduate of Hawai'i with a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology, Williams played overseas for leagues in Puerto Rico and Portugal from 1995-96.

Williams' previous coaching experience includes working with various club programs as well as coaching in 1990 at Mid-Pacific Institute, a high school in Honolulu, Hawai'i.

Williams was a First-Team All-American, First-Team All-Northwest Region selection and a three-time First-Team All-Big West Conference selection during her playing days for the Rainbow Wahine.
