UNLV ~Ashley returns for her second season as a middle blocker. 2004 ~Played in 60 matches and 21 games. ~She tied for the most blocks in a match (Nine at New Mexico, Nov. 11). ~She had three matches where her attacking percentage was over .300. ~She had a season-high 12 kills and 31 attempts on the road at New Mexico (Nov. 11). ~She had a season-high three assists on two occasions; San Diego State (Sept. 24) and Wyoming (Nov. 18). ~She had a seven digs against Washington State (Sept. 3). ~She landed two of her four aces on the road against Air Force (Nov. 13). High School ~A 2004 graduate of St. Helens High School in St. Helens, Ore. ~She helped her team to a fourth-place finish in league play and her team advanced to the second round of the playoffs. ~In 2003, she was chosen first team all-league, team MVP and All-State honorable mention. ~In 2001-02, she was named to the all-league second-team. ~She lettered three years in volleyball, basketball and softball. ~She graduated with a 4.0 g.p.a., and was her class valedictorian.
