Rebels Prepare For Fall Slate With Scrimmages

UNLV volleyball will host a pair of tune-ups for the 2015 season on Aug. 15 and 22 at the Cox Pavilion.

UNLV: Named to the 2014 AVCA Division I All-Pacific South Team (Honorable Mention) and Mountain West All-Conference First Team ... Earned MW Player of the Week recognition twice (Nov. 10 and Dec. 1, 2014) ... Finished the 2014 season nationally ranked in blocks per set (sixth: 1.51), total blocks (eighth: 174) and hitting efficiency (82nd: .343) ... Received a redshirt for the 2012 season ... In UNLV's career record book, ranks second in hitting efficiency (.294) ... In UNLV's single-season record book, ranks second in both total blocks (174.0 in 2014) and assisted blocks (149); third in hitting efficiency (.343) and seventh in solo blocks (25).

2014: Played in 33 matches and 115 sets ... Had a total of 298 kills with 12 matches of 10 or more kills, including a season-high 20 at New Mexico (Nov. 6) ... Had a total of 20 matches with a hitting efficiency above .300 (minimum of five kills) with a season-high .714 vs. San José State (Nov. 15) ... Had a total of 12 assists with a season-high two on three occasions: vs. Cornell (Sept. 5), vs. UC Davis (Sept. 13) and vs. San Diego State (Nov. 25) ... 2013: Played in 17 matches and 31 sets ... Had a total of 41 kills with a season-high seven vs. Kansas State (Aug. 31) ... Had two matches with a hitting efficiency above .300 (minimum of five kills) with a season-high .385 outing (6-1-13) vs. Air Force (Nov. 2) ... Had a total of three assists with a season-high two vs. Utah State (Nov. 21) ... Had a total of eight digs with a season-high two on two occasions: vs. San José State (Oct. 3) and vs. Boise State (Nov. 23) ... Had a total of 11 blocks (one solo, 10 assisted) with a season-high four (all assisted) vs. Kansas State (Aug. 31) ... Had a season-high one solo block vs. Utah State (Nov. 21).

2012: Sat out season as a redshirt.

High School: A 2012 graduate of Bonanza High School in Las Vegas ... Lettered in volleyball, soccer and track & field for the Bengals ... In volleyball, earned all-conference honors as a sophomore, junior and senior before being named the 4A All-Southwest League's Co-MVP and Sunset Region's MVP ... In track & field, selected as Bonanza's Field MVP in 2010 and '11, and owns the second-best triple jump in school history (37-7.25) ... Two-time regional champion in the triple jump ...
