The 2012 Rebels went 18-11 and finished third in the Mountain West.
UNLV: Sheila returns for her third season with the Rebel volleyball program. 2002: Sheila improved her offensive production in 2002 and finished with the second-best attack percentage on the team at .276. She put up 87 kills and 64 blocks. One of her best games came against Sacramento State, where she knocked down seven kills and a season-high nine blocks. She missed 11 matches in 2002 due to injury and prior commitments with the Puerto Rican National Team. 2001: Sheila finished the season as the top blocker in the nation with 1.92 blocks per game. She knocked down 177 total blocks during her freshman season, 14 solo and 163 assisted. She had seven games with double-digit blocks. She also dropped 148 kills on her opponents with a .262 attack percentage, the second best on the team. Her best offensive performance came against No. 18 Utah when she had nine kills on 10 attempts without an error for a .900 attack percentage.
