LAS VEGAS - The UNLV Rebels (1-3) suffered a 3-1 (22-25, 25-23, 16-25, 11-25) match to the Idaho Vandals (4-1) Saturday afternoon in the second day of the Alexis Park Classic from the Cox Pavilion.

The Vandals out-hit the Rebels by a .248 to .111 for the match. Idaho only notched one more kill (49-to-48), but watched as UNLV committed 16 more attacking errors (31-to-15) throughout the match. The Vandals hit between .195 to .367, while UNLV hit no higher than .248 with three sets below .121.

UNLV was led offensively by an 11-kill effort from Samantha Noland. Erin Greenwood and Cursty Jackson followed closely behind with eight apiece.

Amanda Alles assisted on 31 of the Rebels' 44 kills.

Defensively, Kela Lau Hee and Samantha Richard slip the libero duties, as they tallied 16 and 10 digs, respectively.

Idaho was paced by double-digit kill matches from Kelsey Taylor and Sarah Conwell. Taylor owned a match-high 14 kills to Conwell's 11. Besides owning the highest kill tally, Taylor also racked up a .520 hitting efficiency.

Katie Tribley tallied the match's only double-double with her combination of 31 assists and 11 digs.

Tribley was one of three Vandals to have 10 or more digs, as Jennifer Feicht and Meredith Rice had 13 apiece.

The Rebels return to action on Saturday night at 7:00 pm in the final match of the tournament. UNLV will face Loyola Marymount following the Idaho-UCLA affair at 4:30 pm.

In the day's earlier match, #9 UCLA knocked off LMU by a 3-0 margin.
