LAS VEGAS - The UNLV volleyball team improved its home record to 6-1 with a 3-1 (30-26, 30-23, 30-32, 30-23) victory over Northern Arizona on Monday night at the Cox Pavilion.
It was the third game in four days for the Rebels, who move to 9-10 on the season. The Lumberjacks fall to 9-11 with the loss.
UNLV hit .247 (71-30-166) as a team, its best offensive hitting percentage in 10 matches. The Rebels upped their attack to .364 (16-4-33) in the fourth and decisive game.
Leiana Oswald tallied 20 kills in the four-game match, her best offensive output since putting 23 kills on Boise State on Sept. 13. She also finished with a match-high 18 digs and four blocks.
Sheila Ocasio-Clemente put up a season-high 19 kills. It was her sixth double-digit kill performance of the season. She also had seven blocks, two solo and five assisted.
Nina Franchini finished with 15 digs in the Libero spot.
UNLV returns to conference play on Friday when the travel to San Diego State. The Rebels take on the Aztecs at 7 p.m.
