LAS VEGAS - The UNLV volleyball team snapped a snapped a four-match home winning streak with a 3-1 (32-30, 30-27, 30-26, 30-28) loss to 18th-ranked Colorado State on Saturday night at the Thomas & Mack Center.

UNLV out-hit Colorado State .295 (62-21-139) to .276 (80-32-174) in a match won by a total of 11 points, three more than the minimum would have allowed.

With the win, UNLV drops to 10-13, 3-7 in Mountain West Conference play. The Rams improve to 20-4 overall, 11-0 in league play.

Patricia Assuncao led UNLV with 20 kills. She also tallied four digs and a pair of blocks.

Leiana Oswald added 14 kills, nine digs and four blocks, while Sheila Ocasio-Clemente put up 10 kills and five blocks.

Freshman Stacy Dunklau put together her best match of the season, finishing with eight kills and nine blocks.

Nicki King had 54 assists, seven digs and three blocks, while Nina Franchini led all players with 13 digs.

UNLV continues conference play on the road next weekend when they travel to New Mexico on Thursday night.
