USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - The UNLV volleyball team defeated Air Force 3-0 (30-28, 39-37, 30-24) in a highly contested match on Thursday night. With the win, UNLV improved to 10-17 overall, 6-7 in Mountain West Conference play. The Falcons fall to 8-20, 2-11 in league play.

Leiana Oswald the Rebels offensively for the third straight match. She tallied 17 kills, nine digs and a pair of blocks.

Christina Kirschner dropped eight blocks on the Falcons, one solo and seven assisted. She also added five kills.

Blair Wilkes and Sarah Fachner contributed nine kills and four blocks each. Fachner hit .a team-high .571 on the night.

Nicki King finished with 40 assists and seven digs, while Nina Franchini led all players with 12 digs.

UNLV wraps up regular season play on Saturday with a 6 p.m. match at New Mexico. A win against the Lobos give the Rebels their best conference record since joining the MWC.
