Rebels Welcome Lobos, Frogs To Town|

FIRST SERVE: The UNLV Rebels remain home for two more matches this weekend with visits by the New Mexico Lobos and the TCU Horned Frogs. The contests signify the beginning of the second half of the Mountain West Conference slate for UNLV. The Rebels will square off with UNM on Friday night with a 7:00 pm contest prior to a televised affair against TCU Sunday afternoon at 1:00 pm.
The UNLV-TCU match will be televised nationwide by CBS College Sports, which can be found on DirecTV Ch. 613 and Cox Ch. 333.

ON THE SIDELINES: The UNLV Rebels hit the road for a pair of matches in the Rocky Mountains. UNLV will play #14 Colorado State on Nov. 4 in Fort Collins, Colo., before facing the Wyoming in Laramie, Wyo., on Nov. 6.
REBEL REWIND: The UNLV Rebels went 1-1 last week with a 3-0 loss to the San Diego State Aztecs before rebounding with a 3-1 win over the UMKC Kangaroos.
Candice Thomas and Sara Nehf led the Rebel offense in kills with 22 and 21, respectively. Thomas had seven kills against San Diego State before smashing a career- and season-high 15 against UMKC. Nehf, on the other hand, had nine vs. SDSU and then 12 vs. UMKC.
Nehf and Kelsey Keeler notched double-doubles in the UMKC affair. Nehf notched her ninth career double-double using a combination of 12 kills and 13 digs. Keeler got the fifth of her career thanks to a 13-kill, 22-dig effort. The 22 digs were a career- and season-high.
Kendra Glendenning led the Rebels in assists with 48, as she dished out 21 against SDSU and 27 more vs. UMKC.
Defensively, Keeler was the top player on the back line digging out 31 opponent attacks.
RECORD BOOK RAMBLINGS: The UNLV Rebels have seen the record book welcome some of their current players into the fold with help from their play this season. Amanda Alles ranks the highest of any Rebel with a sixth-place showing in assists with 897. Kela Lau Hee ranks ninth in digs with 749. Sara Nehf is the only Rebel to place in two different categories, as she ranks ninth in total attempts (2,024) and 10th in kills (736).
SMALL-SCREEN REBELS: The UNLV Rebels will make their fourth and final appearance on television Sunday, Oct. 31, when they take on the TCU Horned Frogs in Mountain West Conference action. The match will be aired live at 1:00 pm on the CBS College Sports Network, which can be found on DirecTV Ch. 613 and Cox Ch. 333.
UNLV has appeared twice on The Mtn. (The MountainWest Sports Network) earlier this year with a road contest at TCU followed by one at home against Wyoming. Most recently, the Rebels were on BYU-TV when they played at BYU this past Saturday, Oct. 16.
