Well, it has been another semi-successful weekend. Should have been 100% successful, but that is a whole different story and I don't want, nor have the energy to go there. Actually, I think I will. Colorado State should have been beaten. We should have taken full advantage of the fact that they came to Vegas thinking it was a sure win. They thought they could just show up and it would be no contest (I don't know for sure if that is what they were thinking, but let's just assume this). We should have put them in their place. They should not have gone home victorious... After winning the first game, we should have just kept playing; I think what we were doing was actually working. And yet again, we learn a valuable lesson. We can win if we just play the WHOLE game!

I am quite sure we have learned something about ourselves and our team everyday this year, which has been a really great experience. I am quite confident that by the end of this season, this abundance of learned information will help us be the successful team that we should and can be! Don't get me wrong, we are successful now, but you and I both know that we are capable of so much more!

It was great to beat the Cowgirls though. It is hard to believe that we actually walked out of their not so nice gym without a W! If we could only turn back time. But since we can't, REVENGE is sweet enough! We needed this win. In case you weren't in attendance, we were successful in three. This is a nice improvement for us because we didn't let them have an opportunity to beat us. We actually played the whole thirty points (x 3) without a slight pause at 22. It was a bit slow, but the most important thing is that we won! Barbara made another impressive appearance; Blair had some good kills and blocks; Pati was on fire; Leiana was too; Nicki was all over those tips; Adrianna learned to keep her second serve in (and she set quite well too); Nina was a digging machine once again; Sheila made some attempts to hit the ball hard; and the rest of us also made some valuable contributions!

Personally I think we owe a lot of recognition to our very loud, impressive cheering from the sidelines. After watching the film from Friday, Jodi and I came to the conclusion that even though it feels as though we are screaming at the top of our lungs, we have no voice recognition on film to account for this. So, in hope of a louder appearance on film and in attempt to show better support for our fellow teammates, Saturday was our night to redeem ourselves. I think it was a much better appearance. I just hope that Jodi and Amy might come with a better cheer than their notorious "Come on, come on" cheer. This one could really be put to rest. Other than that, I have no complaints!

Blair, next time we are on the sidelines together, please make it your best attempt to not get me in trouble! You realize that it is always your fault that we get caught in the act! Actually this time it was Suken's fault! Suken, I hope that was actually your parents from Montana that Blair and I were staring at. By the way, Hello Suken's parents. We are all sad that we did not get the opportunity to meet you this weekend. Your son is definitely one of our favorite managers (or our only favorite manager) and I am glad that you could grace us with his presence. Hope you had a safe trip home.

And thanks to our favorite yummy lemon cake-making grandparents of Sarah Fachner. I think the TWO pieces of this delectable cake was the highlight of the weekend. My offer still stands: I will trade my yum yum carrot cake recipe if I could possibly have the opportunity to create that even yummier lemon cake concoction! It was great to have you guys in attendance. Ms. Sarah's mom too. Next time, for sure make it a road trip for your sixth grade students! Thanks for cheering for me too; I could hear you.

Thanks to my cheering section filled with the best family a girl could ask for. Much love goes out to all of you who made the trip to watch me play! I am so glad you all came. You definitely get the loudest cheering award, but Grandpa could you please keep the profanity to a minimum. You too Mom! And to my favorite little cousin, Nathan, you are the greatest! I can't wait to see you grow up big and strong so you can play on your own Rebel squad. I think you would look great in orange. I will definitely be there to watch! Hopefully, you can come back and watch again soon. The pregame practice you held for me turned out to be very lucky for us! Thank you! The fake purple grape said thanks for finally giving him a name. Love you.

Would you like to hear our latest pregame meal updates? This weekend was bug and hair free, which is a good change. Blair had nothing on her silverware and Adrianna actually got a Pepsi on the first try. Besides Amy having a carpenter staple in her chicken, I think it was a pretty good meal. The team was also introduced to one of my favorite snacks from the greatest hometown of Tonopah. Thanks to my Grandpa Jim who supplied for us -- and Leiana don't forget to find the nutrient content for us. I am really curious. And Amy, don't worry, I won't tell you about how it all ends up.

I wanted to let you all know that I really do not enjoy Utah as much as it may have seemed. I was feeling slightly sarcastic last week and every week before, so please don't take things too seriously. Utah is a very nice place indeed, but as for wanting to go back? Not so much!

Wish us luck on Tuesday; we are traveling to NAU. We hope to play better and return with another W! Please let it not snow and please let us actually get our studying done on the bus! We will see you all again this Saturday when we attempt another victory against San Diego State and we bid farewell (not for good) to your most favorite seniors! You guys are really going to miss us! We will let you know in a couple months if we feel the same.
