Angela Warren begins her first season as a volunteer assistant coach at UNLV after earning All-American honors at Brigham Young University.
Along with winning multiple individual Mountain West titles, Warren also boasts All-American honors in the Steeplechase, the Distance Medley Relay and in the class room where she was a three-time USTFCCCA Academic All-American.
During her four-year career at BYU she recorded all-time best marks in the 800m (2.04.06), the mile (4.40.44) and the 3000m steeplechase (9.58).
With her success on the track, Warren was invited to represent South Africa at the World Youth and Junior Championships.
Upon finishing her athletic career at BYU, she was hired by National Coach of the Year Patrick Shane as his team manager, a position she served for two years. While serving as the team manager at BYU, Warren continued her education receiving a Master's Degree in Youth and Family Recreation.
Warren comes to UNLV from Northern California where she worked for Nike Sports Camps, operating a nation-wide network of camps.
Warren, who was born and raised in South Africa, is married to UNLV men's tennis assistant coach Zack Warren.
