Rebels Place Four On Fall Academic Team|

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV cross country program had four student-athletes named to the 2013 Fall Academic All-Mountain West eam, the league announced. In all, UNLV had 39 student-athletes tabbed to the academic team, which marked the eighth straight year with at least 35 honorees.
The Rebel quartet to earn the academic distinction are Ryanne Bailey (nutrition sciences), Amanda Berg (hospitality management), Miranda Menzies (history) and Arielle Steimer-Barragan (political science).
Berg is a two-time honoree, while Bailey, Menzies and Steimer-Barragan are first-time selections.
To be eligible for selection to the Academic All-MW Team, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the school, while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their team. Overall, a league-record 534 student-athletes were named to the Fall 2013 Academic All-Mountain West Team.
