LAS VEGAS - UNLV cross country announced its 2009 schedule on Wednesday and the Rebels are scheduled to run in four regular season meets and then the Mountain West Conference Championships on Oct. 31.

Every race the Rebels will run in during the regular season will be in California, with the postseason meets being held in Utah, Oregon and Indiana.

The Rebels open the 2009 season at Cal State Fullerton on Sept. 5, and will return to the Golden State two weeks later for a meet at UC Riverside on Sept. 19. The Stanford Invite on Sept. 26 is next for the Rebels, and they will close out the regular season at the Santa Clara Invitational on Oct. 17.

UNLV will then travel to Provo, Utah, for the 2009 MWC Championships, and then will head to the NCAA West Regional meet on Nov. 14, which will be hosted by the University of Oregon in Eugene. The 2009 NCAA Championships will be held in Terre Haute, Ind., on Nov. 23, and the meet will be hosted by Indiana State University.
