Bronco Invitational Info

LAS VEGAS ( -- The UNLV cross country program will travel to Northern California to compete in Santa Clara's Bronco Invitational Saturday at Baylands Park in nearby Sunnyvale. The meet will consist of four races with the Rebels participating in the women's 6K at 9:45 am.

Saturday's meet is the first for the Rebels since they finished second at San Diego State's Aztec Invitational at the end of September, and it will be the final tune-up for the team before the Mountain West Championships later this month.

"We are looking forward to our race on Saturday," said head coach Jebreh Harris. "We are two weeks from our conference championships and we have been training well. The last few weeks off from racing have been great for us to focus on our chemistry and consistent training. Executing our race with confidence as a stronger team is our focus this weekend."

Running for the Rebels this weekend will be Spencer Moore, Lindy Eskin, Sara Williams, Nicole Snow, Kennedy Allen, Caitlin Amburgey, Yamilet Biggers and Angela Ziff.

Moore has paced the Rebels in the three previous competitions, which includes a third-place finish at the Aztec Invitational.
