Nov. 21, 2016
LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV track & field and cross country programs have received signed national letters of intent from six student-athletes -- Kassidy Deardorff, Cassidy Osborne-Butler, Mikayla Rees, Emma Wahlenmaier, Danielle Williams and Avi'Tal Wilson-Perteete, announced head coach Yvonne Wade. The class is comprised of five track student-athletes and one more that compete in field events (throws).
"This is a solid group of early signees for our team," noted Wade. "They will each be a great addition to our already young team and we are excited to add them to the Rebel family. We still have several spots to fill for the spring signing period so our staff will be pounding the pavement to add more talent to our team. Our goal is not only to be a dominant force in the Mountain West, but also to be one on a national scale."
