The Rebel Starzz assists in the funding of the UNLV Cheer and Dance Program. The Rebel Starzz is a cheer and dance team for children ages 4-15 years old. Our program provides the opportunity to learn traditional cheerleading, jazz and hip hop dance taught by UNLV cheerleaders and dancers. Team members perform as a group a minimum of eight times per season and the majority of the performances are during UNLV Athletics events.

Rebel Starzz Cheer (6-15 years)
Rebel Starzz Cheer focuses on the basics of cheerleading including basic tumbling, stunting and pom routines. This group is limited to the first 25 participants.

Rebel Starzz Dance (4-15)
The Rebel Starzz Dance program is limited to ensure that we provide proper instruction to each child on the team. This season the team will be limited to 90 team members within our six groups.

Returning team members may have the opportunity to move up a group depending on group sizes.

Uniforms Uniforms will be new this season and will cost $215 per person. Uniform payments are due on September 1st.

Shoes
Each team member must purchase the approved team shoes prior to the first performance in September. Shoes may be ordered from our vendor at the August Mini-Camp.

Practice Schedule/Location
The Rebel Starzz will practice once a week on the campus of UNLV on Tuesdays. Practice will be held at the McDermott PE Complex.

5:30-7:00pm
